Somewhere steady.
Store perfume away from direct sunlight and sustained heat. A cupboard in a room with relatively stable temperature is often more suitable than a bright windowsill or a warm bathroom.

Keep it closed.
Replace the cap and avoid unnecessarily decanting or exposing the contents. A well-functioning atomiser limits repeated direct air contact.

Let the fragrance tell you.
A change in colour alone is not always spoilage, but a distinctly altered smell or irritation is a reason to stop and seek product guidance. Follow manufacturer instructions where available.
